Unify America Movement
TOP 10 Objectives
We seek to initiate and facilitate Congressional Reform, and
restore the role of government in our nation as it was intended by our founding
fathers and the Constitution. It was designed to be public service, not self
service…and we will leverage the power of the American people to restore it, and
amend the Constitution to preserve it.
We seek to reaffirm our identity as a nation. If we are to
preserve democracy, we must first be Americans, before race, color, religion, or
creed, for that defines who we are, what we are, and what we stand
for.
We demand our government immediately disengage from all external
conflicts, and instead use our military resources to secure our borders, and
assist in battling issues threatening our homeland. It is not our responsibility
to fix the world, and in most cases it has proven only to serve personal or
political agendas that do nothing to protect, support and preserve our
nation.
We demand our government develop, and submit for public
approval, a tax reform initiative designed to level the playing field for all
Americans. That initiative should include a flat tax based on gross income, and
a national sales tax based on consumption. The system should be fair, simple,
and not be subject to deductions or exemptions of any
kind.
We demand our government develop, and submit for public
approval, an affordable healthcare system that addresses the needs of the
public, reforms the existing system of unreasonable costs, and addresses the
negative financial impact that illegal immigrants impose on the
system.
We demand our government develop, and submit for public
approval, a revised budget that commits the necessary funds and resources to
restore our educational system to be paramount to any in the world. The proposal
will address the quality of instruction, performance management standards for
teachers, elimination of tenure, teacher compensation, and a critical review of
administrative costs. Curriculums will be updated to reflect the needs of our
times, and to best prepare students for adulthood, as well as competing and
thriving in a global economy.
We demand that our government develop, and submit for public
approval, a specific plan to develop alternative energy sources, reduce the use
of fossil fuels, and eliminate our dependency on foreign energy. There are
enough naturally occurring resources available, we just need to commit to
utilizing them, beginning with solar and wind
technology.
We demand that our government develop, and submit for public
approval, a plan to eliminate unemployment in this country, and make employment
opportunities available for all who want to work. Included in that plan will be
unemployment benefit reform, designed to offer short term low interest loans
rather than free benefits, and reduce the financial pressure on employers to
provide that benefit. The employer savings in unemployment premiums should be
reinvested into higher employee compensation.
We demand that our government develop, and submit for public
approval, a specific plan to transition out of all entitlement programs,
beginning with the elimination of benefits for illegal immigrants. The solution
should include low interest loans to citizens who have fallen on hard
times.
We demand that our government develop, and submit for public
approval, a specific plan to reform the justice system. Included in that plan
should be the process by which judges will be elected, rather than appointed.
Additionally, it should include a specific plan to make all prisons self
sustaining, without any need for public support. Through the use of solar and
wind energy, and the implementation of onsite work farms, this should be
accomplished in a short time frame.
