I had the pleasure of helping Harry make the first couple of hires to get Unify off the ground back before the pandemic. I have to admit that while I thought Harry's vision for Unify was brilliant back then, I had no idea how he would actually make it work in practice. Fast forward to 2025, and I'm back as the Fractional Chief People Officer for the organization that is rapidly putting Harry's vision into action – both by training people how to work together across ideological lines to make good civic decisions, and by creating the forums for Americans to put those skills to work in their own communities. Not bad for six years. I can't wait to see what comes next.
