Megan Green

Director of Development

Megan began her career as a teacher after earning a bachelor's degree in Middle and Secondary English Education and a master's degree in Teaching and Leadership from the University of Kansas. Later, while pursuing a second master's degree in American Studies, she discovered her passion for equity, civic engagement, and strengthening communities through meaningful action.

Since then, Megan has worked across a variety of mission-driven sectors, including affordable childcare, food distribution, domestic violence prevention and survivor support, and nonprofit leadership. She also spent a brief stint in the corporate world, where she picked up a few useful skills before returning to the nonprofit sector, where her heart has always been. She serves on the board of her local homeless shelter, and works on local city commission campaigns.

At Unify America, Megan is excited to help build stronger communities, foster productive dialogue, and create opportunities for people to work together across differences.
