Nhelia Alemo

Nhelia Alemo is a second-year student at the University of Iowa pursuing a Bachelor’s in Political Science with a certificate in Political Risk Analysis. Growing up in the Democratic Republic of Congo and witnessing the humanitarian crises there sparked her early interest in politics. This passion is why Nhelia has found her place at the Unify America Student Advisory Board, seeing it as an opportunity to promote national unity and bridge political polarization and, one day, bring similar initiatives to her home country.
