Reddgo Long, Jr

Partnerships Manager

I’ve always believed that democracy works best when people feel seen, heard, and empowered to participate. My path to civic engagement started with an opportunity to work in the Community Engagement department as a Program Coordinator at my alma mater, which quickly turned into a calling.

From launching civic education initiatives to securing major grant funding for multi-year democracy projects on campuses, I’ve had the privilege of designing programs that help students and communities better understand and actively shape their role in democracy. What keeps me energized is the opportunity to collaborate with students, local leaders, and changemakers working across divides.

I’m drawn to work that brings people together in spite of differences, especially when it means tackling tough issues with openness and curiosity. I believe in using data to guide decisions, partnerships to drive progress, and purpose to fuel impact. Being a part of an organization like Unify America—that’s actively building tools and partnerships to make democracy more inclusive, accessible, and solution-focused—is both professionally and personally fulfilling.

When I'm not immersed in civic work, you'll find me traveling, playing basketball, or enjoying a good podcast.

By the way, my name is pronounced "Ready-Go."
