It’s official! Thanks to many requests from educators and participants in the Unify Challenge College Bowl, students now have a chance to “go deep” into a single topic to practice critical civic skills in a one-on-one setting.
Meet the Deep Dive, Unify America’s second intercollegiate learning program in Unify America’s Civic Gym series.
The Deep Dive gives students a chance to explore their point of view in-depth on a single critical issue facing America today and to help a conversation partner explore theirs through active listening and follow-up questions. They’ll be able to deepen their understanding of the issue, develop a more nuanced point of view on the topic, practice supporting their opinion with facts and personal experience, and collaboratively brainstorm solutions to a societal problem.
